The Role

Sales comes in the form of relationships, tenacity and adding value to the work of their clients. This is a technical based sales role (full training provided - just bring your smarts) - and you will be considered a trusted advisor once you are up to speed.. As such, your role will be to represent this company in the market by: 

  • Developing and expanding relationships with architects involved in mostly commercial, and some larger residential projects
  • Finding new business and developing opportunities for the company’s solutions
  • Adding value through advice, detailing, recommendations and simply making it easy for the architect
  • Being consistent and driven in your approach
  • Building relationships across the industry - from construction firms and contractors, through to attending events in the region.

As the key representative for the company, you will enjoy building relationships, diving into technical details and finding ways to get the solutions to be the preferred choice by architects. 
  
About you

If you have sales in your DNA, this role may just be for you. We know that you can learn an industry, but drive, coachability, motivation and desire to sell are often innate. Therefore, while we would love you to have an interest in construction, it is your approach to relationship selling that we are looking for. If you have drive, a ‘figure it out’ factor and enjoy being a trusted partner, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. It’s a great career! 
  
What’s more, you'll also thrive on connecting with the guys on the construction sites, enjoy a bit of banter and be the ‘go-to’ person for this area of the business.
