The role
The role of Head of Sales is part of the leadership team and is responsible for the go to market sales strategy, client acquisition and leading a team to accelerate growth across the Australia and New Zealand markets. You will:

  • Lead from the front, to motivate and support the sales team to reach their full potential and feel supported in their sales strategies, pipeline management, sales activity and negotiations.
  • Drive the sales process for high-profile and strategic accounts in order to acquire new business, accelerate revenue growth and reach revenue targets
  • As part of the leadership team, take the lead for the development and execution of the sales strategy. This includes formulating effective market strategies, designing the sales organisation, and making recommendations for commercial models. Diving into the data to guide strategy is essential
  • Bring a deep understanding of market trends and feedback and the competitor landscape, ensuring that the sales strategy remains agile and adaptable to evolving market conditions.
  • Represent the company in the market, speaking and presenting at industry events
  • Travel between Australia and New Zealand, and occasionally globally.
Your experience
We are looking for a leader who has experience in scaling a SaaS or tech business. Most importantly, you will still love sales yourself, have the leadership style that can get the most from your team, and have experience in establishing sales in new markets. You will have the ability to think strategically and continuously add value across the business as part of the leadership team.

You will have a natural leadership style that can inspire and motivate others to be their best, while being passionate about creating your own activity too. This is a ‘player/coach’ role - your graft and drive will generate new business, while ensuring the team to reach their goals too.
