Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing SaaS company with a strong focus on innovation and cutting-edge technology. With development teams spread across both the North and South Island, they are seeking a seasoned Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead their expanding technical team and drive their vision forward. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing developers and projects, along with the ability to work closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to deliver outstanding outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a talented team of software developers, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Oversee the successful execution of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team to align technological initiatives with business objectives, contributing to strategic decision-making and fostering a culture of cross-functional collaboration.
• Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and processes to enhance our product offerings, ensuring our competitive edge in the market.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in effectively managing and leading teams of developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple complex projects, with a strong focus on delivering results within set timelines and budgets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• A deep understanding of SaaS technologies and the ability to drive technological innovation aligned with the company's strategic goals.
• Familiarity with the New Zealand tech landscape and experience working within a distributed team model.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.

Location and Remuneration:

This position is based in Auckland, New Zealand. While our client is open to considering exceptional candidates for remote work, a preference will be given to those willing to work from Auckland office.
